Pair of vintage mid-century bedside cabinets

These beautiful bedside cabinets were produced by Novy Domov furniture studio in the former Czechoslovakia in the 1970s. They are finished with sapele veneer, and have lovely bent plywood legs. The handles are beech, and the tops are made of very deep purple Opaxit (a glass product developed in Chodov in the mid 20th century) which appears black. The glass tops are not attached so they could easily be changed, if desired. 
Overall, these items are in wonderful condition, with only a few marks of wear (please see pictures): there is a small chip in one of the glass tops; a small chip on the back leg of one of the cabinets; and a few scuffs in the finish. All of the handles are still securely attached, all the drawers run, the catches work, and the webbing on the pull-down front is securely attached and in good condition. 
 
This item will be dispatched with the legs removed and packed, along with their fixings, separately: this is to ensure that they are not damaged in transit.
